She is survived by: her children, Gary and Jan Tipton (David Austin); her granddaughters, Rebecca Tipton of Lafayette and Heather Stringer of Sumrall, Mississippi; her great grandchildren, Emily Jeanmard and Miranda Jeanmard; and her brothers, David Patten and Ronnie Patten.
