With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael James McCormick of Shawnee, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Michael left this world on February 8, 2026 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Meghan Jackson; his brother Kevin McCormick; and his parents, John Elizabeth and Mary Elizabeth (Roberta McCormick). He is survived by: his wife Pat Gray of Shawnee; his grandson Liam Jackson of Norman; his son-in-law Terry Jackson, Jr. of Norman; and his sister Maureen Giese of Oklahoma City.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Gregory's Abbey.
