With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred Bristow-Eakins of Shawnee, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2026 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frizell and Lottie Frizell; her former husband Melvin Eakins; her husband Jacob Bristow; and her son-in-law Richard Hutchinson.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah Hutchinson of Tecumseh, OK, Wanda (Kenny Leathers), Carolyn (Jim Peters), Russell "Rusty" (Diane Bristow) and Randy (Cindy Bristow); and her grandchildren, Kevin, Jamey Hutchinson, Scott Hutchinson, David Oswald, Mark Oswald, Angie Oswald, Jeff, Kristi Peters, Jeremy, Wanda Peters, Shane Bristow and Shawn Bristow. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and other extended family.
