He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Ashley and Rose Davis; and his siblings, Leon Gokey, Darrell Gokey, Claude B. Davis, Flora "Chicken" Davis and Gale Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Laveta "Lolly" Ashley; and his children, Chandra Cox, Chelby Edmonds, Dariel Ashley, Enrique Ashley, Crystal Grant Lowe, Rick Ashley and Audrey Lee. He is also survived by grandfather and great-grandfather.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the Wakolee Cemetery.
