He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hurt and Betty Hurt. He is survived by: his wife Kellie; his children, Jason, Travis, Stephen, Ricky and Ashley; his grandchildren, Chris, Ashton, Peyton, Stephen and Georgia; and his siblings, Julie Calvert and Matt Hurt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Remembrances may be made to the American Liver Foundation and/or American Cancer Society in Steve's honor.
