With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Frank Armstrong (Shawnee, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Frank Armstrong, Jr. and Carmelita Armstrong; and his grandparents, Oscar Frank Armstrong, Sr., Rosa Ona Armstrong, Burvie and Emma Akins.
He is survived by: his wife Lynell Armstrong; his son Clint Armstrong; his daughter-in-law Leslie Armstrong; his grandchildren, Leighton, Caedmon, Edric, Paxton Armstrong and Coppélia Armstrong; his sister Laura J. Armstrong; and his friend Tony Fitzgerald.
Viewing will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Walker Funeral & Cremation Service (201 E 45th St, Shawnee, OK 74804). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
