He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre Taron and Lelia Taron; his parents-in-law, Irvin and Anita Burrough; his siblings, Louise (Gene O'Daniel), Anna Lee (Johnny Johnson), Virginia (Charles Northcutt), Richard (Mary Teresa), Pierre Jr. (Glennabelle Taron), Robert "Bob" Sr. (Barbara Taron), James "Jim" Taron, Bernard Taron, Mary Louise Taron (Joe) and Bevlyn Taron (Leonard); and his brother-in-law Brian Burrough.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Burrough; his daughter Ghislaine; his son-in-law Brian Washburn; his sons, Daniel Taron and Mark; his daughter-in-law Shantel Taron; his son Walker Cross; his grandchildren, Hunter Washburn (Kaitlyn), Taryn Holmes (Jeremy), Madalyn, Saydi Taron and Benjamen Flanagan; his great grandchildren, Reylynn, Hayzen and Kaydence Washburn; his siblings, Joe Taron, Mary Teresa Williamson, Leonard Taron, Katherine Mullin and Joan Jackson (Larry); and his sister-in-law Chris Taron. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walker Funeral & Cremation Service (201 E 45th St, Shawnee, OK 74804). A wake was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. Benedict Catholic Church (632 N Kickapoo Ave, Shawnee, OK 74801). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Benedict's Catholic Church Youth Program.
