He was predeceased by: his brother Curtis Clearman; and his niece Karlie Clearman. He is survived by: his parents, Troy Eldon Clearman and Gladys Taylor; his wife Bonita; his children, David Mendez, Amanda Brady, Angel Bristow (Bobby III) and Troy Dean Clearman V (Katie Sue); and his sister Regina Clearman (Breck Lewis Case). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters a niece and a nephew.
