He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Earl Hudson and Mary Ellen Hudson (Jones); his son Dustin Hudson; and his brothers, Gary Hudson, Cecil Hudson and Donald Hudson.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Hudson; his daughter Stacey Stumpf (Brian); his grandchildren, William Yandell II, Thomas Stumpf, Yauri Fulkerson (Brandon) and Kaylyn Odom (Dillon); his great grandchildren, Liam Yandell, Violet Yandell and Nicholas Yandell; and his siblings, Sharon Harvel, Lloyd Hudson (Blanche) and Tony Hudson (Ronda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
