He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Alexander and Mary Imogene Alexander (Pace); his son John Paul Alexander; his stepsons, Allen Robinson and Jeffrey Robinson; and his brothers, Rodger Leon Alexander and Steven Ray Alexander.

He is survived by: his wife Irene "Micky" Alexander; his daughters, Mary JoEllen, Nina Lynn and Felicia Anette; his stepsons, Elmer L. "Beaver" Robinson and Corey D. Robinson; and his sisters, Jacqueline Compton (Bob) and Virginia Louise Johnson. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Snow Community Center.
