With sadness, we share the passing of Darrell Gene Lamar of Snyder, Oklahoma. Darrell, born on October 31, 1952, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Tom Lamar; and his son Jeremy Lamar. He is survived by: his mother Delilah Lamar (Shephard) of Stillwater; his sons, Darren (Johnelle) of Snyder and Blake (Contessa) of Moore; his brother Danny (Nancy) of Stillwater; his daughter-in-law Melissa Spears of Mustang; and his grandchildren, Darra, Jaelie, Izzy Lamar of Snyder, Jade, Jordan Lamar of Moore, Tiffany and Rose Lamar of Tipton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home (622 E St, Snyder, OK 73566). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fairlawn Cemetery (16296 N 2270 Rd, Snyder, OK 73566).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Darrell Gene may be made to the Snyder Alumni Association Scholarship Fund at P.O. Box 368, Snyder, OK 73566, or to the charity of your choice.
