She was predeceased by: her parents, E. B. Johnson and Dora Bell Baldwin; her son Charles Ray Johnson; and her siblings, Jake Muse, Jerry Muse, Gary Muse, Raymond "Sonny" Muse, Florence Johnson, Betty Dickey, Evelynn Allen, Carolyn Lacy and Joyce Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, Sam Perry (Angela Randle), T. C. Perry Jr., Detrick Whitehead (Tameka Whitehead), Roy Wilson Jr., Shameka McGill (James McGill) and TaNesha Haith; and her brothers, Jimmy "Black Daddy" Muse and Billy Ray Muse. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
