He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhoda Bell Smith (French) and William Jefferson Smith; his children, Tammy Smith and Larry Smith; his grandson Jeremy Smith; his siblings, Bill Smith, James Smith, Dallas Smith, Donna McClain, Jessie Dieter and Mary Lou Jordan; and his parents-in-law, James and Bessie Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Smith (Hall); his daughter Tawnya Jackson (Mark); his grandchildren, David Daugherty (Leslie), Andrea Shoup (Justin), Leann Jones (Brandon) and Misty Mead (Robert); his great grandchildren, Canon Shoup, Oakley Shoup, Ella Shoup and Braxton Biernacki; his grandchildren, Raycee Biernacki, Josephine Daugherty, Henry Daugherty, Christian Scott, Shay Scott, Addison Mead, Kiley Phillips, Kya Lynn Smith, JJ Smith, Stayley Jones, Saylor Jones and Hadilee Jones; and his sisters, Deloris Masterson and Brenda Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
