He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Louise Hammersley (Bowlin); his former wife Helen Loretta Goss; his father Newton Hammersley; and his sister Gloria Sue Hammersley Nikcevich. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Kane Hammersley (Nova) of Oklahoma City and Kandy Jones (Doug) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Shena Jones Luther (James) of Omaha, Kastle Jones (Gina) of Baltimore, Tate Hammersley of Oklahoma City and Sophia Hammersley of Chicago; and his great grandchild Ozzie Luther of Omaha, Nebraska..
