He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest K. Lackey and Joella Lackey; his son James R. Lackey; and his siblings, Lola Standridge Ernestine Grooms, Shirley Harrington (Bobby Jean Smith), Sonny and Buster Lackey.
He is survived by: his wife Jan L. Lackey; his daughter Cheryl L. Lackey (James) of Stigler; his grandchildren, Johnnie R. Lackey (Shilo) of Sandston, Ashley L. Reyes (Danny) of Stigler, Matthew J. Moore of Stigler and Alice M. Cook of Eufaula; and his great grandchildren, Jesse Cook, Serenity Cook, Magdalena Reyes and Samual Reyes.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beaver Mountain Cemetery.
