He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Weir and Elizabeth Weir; his stepparents, Bill Anderson and Kathryn Weir; his sister Cheryl Toby; and his son-in-law John Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Weir; and his children, LaDonna "Lana" Boyd, Lori McDougal (Bruce) and William "Chip" Weir (Patty). He is also survived by his family grew to include 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six grandchildren's spouses, 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and an extended family.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel (610 S Duncan St, Stillwater, OK 74074). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church (711 N Country Club Rd, Stillwater, OK 74075). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (6500 S Perkins Rd, Stillwater, OK 74074).
