She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse O. Pace and Ina Pearl Pace (Magness); and her brother Tommy Heddlesten. She is survived by: her husband Lavern Heddlesten; her children, Gene (Karen) of Stillwater, Judy Baker (Larry) of Granite City, IL, Tracie Donaldson (Guy) of Arlington, TX, Sharon McKee (Ed) of Stillwater, Debbie Turner of Stillwater and Lee Heddlesten (Trisha) of Ardmore; and her brother Jerry Pace. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Carol requested that memorials be made in her honor to Judith Karmen Hospice.
