He is survived by: his children, Karen Cryer (Rudee) of Perkins, OK, Kevin Fowler (Kris) of Stillwater, OK and Khris Fowler (Peggy) of Cushing, OK.; his grandchildren, Foster Cryer (Lyndsey) of Bentonville, AR, Maegan Long (Jermarcus) of Stillwater, OK, Luke Thompson (Karli) of Stillwater, OK, Lance Thompson of Midland, TX, Anna Fowler of Oklahoma City, OK, Will Fowler of Tulsa, OK, Kaylee Page (Mitchell) of Cushing, OK, Karson Fowler (Katie) of Yale, OK, Konner Fowler (Brett) of Yale, OK, Hayley Fowler of Oklahoma City, OK and Laycee Fowler of Cushing, OK; his siblings, James Fowler (Shirley) of Bel Aire, KS and Betty Schettler (John) of Parsons, KS; and his brother-in-law Alvin Shields (Twyla) of Benbrook, TX. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
After more than a month of struggling with the complications of COVID-19, he died peacefully at his home in Stillwater, OK with his children by his side.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stillwater Group Homes or SPEF (Stillwater Public Education Foundation).
