She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Ramsey and Marleta Ramsey; and her husband Chris Szlichta. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Ramsey Hanson; her son-in-law Jason Hanson; her grandchildren, Jack, Jaylee and Jett Hanson; her stepdaughter Christian Whitney (Barrett); her stepgrandchild Isla; her stepson Jared Szlichta (Lori); her stepgrandchildren, Hailey, Maddison, Kori, Kodi and Isaac; and her cousin Carla Campbell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dighton Marler Funeral Home (5106 N Washington St, Stillwater, OK 74075). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fairlawn Cemetery (1123 E 6th Ave, Stillwater, OK 74074).
They came to know Cheryl not simply as someone living with Alzheimer's, but as a person with a beautiful history, a strong personality, and a lifetime of memories.
