He was predeceased by: his parents, Etter Viola Burris (Bell) and Isaac "Bud" Burris; his son David Ray Burris, Sr.; his great grandchild Alexander Donovan Ray Burris; and his siblings, Evie Mae Hollis, Ella Glass, Ethel McGowen, Helen Ledbetter, Monroe Burris, Roy Burris and Elmer Burris.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Burris, Sr. (Dana) of Muldrow, OK and Michelle Booker Burris of Porter, OK; and his siblings, Mary Whiten of Conyers, GA, Emmett Burris of Sapulpa, OK, Odis Burris of Sapulpa, OK and Walter Lee Burris of Wagoner, OK. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
