She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Linzy and Birdie Linzy (Vick); her former spouse Ikey Sanders; her son Scott Sanders; her stepson Ricky Sanders; her brothers, Harvey Dean Linzy (Bernice) of Petersburg, VA, Abraham Lincoln Linzy, Sr., Elsworth Alexander Linzy, Joseph John Linzy, Luther Tucker Linzy, Chester Field Linzy, Sr. and George; her son Wesley Linzy (John Elley Linzy); and her sisters, Mittie Mondora Carter, Christine Fernita Green (Lloyd), Helen Jean Rivers (Benny) and Willie Ann Pradia (Abel Joe).
She is survived by: her children, Cherry Brown, Sullivan True Sanders and Tony Linzy; her grandchildren, Talmadge Brown and Icey Brown; and her great grandchildren, Shaydren Dwayne Green and Tamia Nicole Langner.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests donations be made to Strode Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
