He was predeceased by: his father Guy Scott Short; his brother David; and his great grandchild Denver. He is survived by: his mother Delores Williams Short; his wife Diann Wingfield Short; his children, Gary Short (Becky) of Wynona and Kelli Hake (Jeff) of Stillwater; his siblings, Rick Short (Debbie) and Tracy Sodowsky (Stet); his grandchildren, Dustin, Miley, Abigail, Gracie, Marriah, Rylan, Brysen and Brody; his great grandchildren, Emersyn, Madisyn, Miley, Wilson and Daylynn; Brandi, Amber, Brooklyn, Hailey and Tracy. He is also survived by his children and step children.
