She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Glenn "Red" Kerns and Roba Mittaline "Mitzi" Kerns. She is survived by: her husband Irvin Piersall (Perc); her children, William Piersall (Janet) of Choctaw, OK and Roba Kay Smith (John) of Stillwater, OK.; her grandsons, Nathan Smith (Katelin) of Lenexa, KS, Jacob Piersall (Caroline Mastel), Riley Smith (Kaylee Mach) of Owasso, OK and Owen Piersall of Choctaw, OK.; her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Jameson Smith; her brother Robert Kerns; her cousins, Deanna Powell of Stillwater and Carol Ann Powell of Stillwater; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Piersall (Maryann) and Carl Hayes of Laverne, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She served on the Boards of the Sheerar Museum, The Foundation for the Stillwater Library, and Friends of the Library.
