We are sad to announce that, on January 15, 2022, at the age of 84, Howard Robert Terry Sr. (Stillwater, Oklahoma), born in Hobart, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. Terry and Daisy Terry; and his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his brothers, Jay of Overland Park and Phil (Ruth) of Tulsa; his children, Rob (Anne) of Stillwater and Val Evans (Jay) of Cashion; and his grandchildren, Matt Terry, Lauren Terry, Ashley Evans, Kaycee Andersen-Evans, Emilee Suntken and Jayce Evans. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the Oklahoma State University Foundation to the Terry Family Ag Ed Student Teacher Assistance Scholarship (Fund 21-65850). Checks should be made payable to Oklahoma State University Foundation and mailed to the OSU Foundation PO Box 1749, Stillwater, OK 74076-1749.

“Dr Bob Terry leaves a legacy of integrity and service! He was not only a great leader, administrator and professor, but he was also a close friend and colleague! One of my favorite OSU memories is attending "the weekly brown bag luncheons" which was a Bible study held at noon in one of "Dr Terry's classrooms and attended by faculty across the OSU campus.I I'm grateful to have the opportunity to work with Bob!
