The memory of Jerry Gill (Stillwater, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 22, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Leon Gill and Jean Allene Gifford Gill; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Howard and Cindy Thompson (Alfred Thompson). He is survived by: his wife Susan Barry; his sisters, Barbara Ann Gill Howard and Melva Jean Gill Smith (Thurman); his children, Derek Gill (Tammy), Lance Gill (Susan), Andrea Gill Carter (Bob) and Tiffany Gill Lenhart (Justin); and his grandchildren, Jared Gill, Mackenzie Gill and Vincent Lenhart. He is also survived by family, his church family.

“Jerry was just a wonderful man! He was so enjoyable to be around. He was professional, personable and genuine. I'm very grateful that I've been included in the Cutchin Cowboy events, and especially being on the Cutchin Cowboy Scholarship committee. Jerry always facilitated that and was a great leader and communicator when we would meet. “Jerry was extra special in every way. We were teammates for Cutchin's Cowboys, and remained friends over the decades. He was legendary throughout the OSU community. I got back to Stillwater from time-to-time, and we met up every time, and he visited me here on his trips to Washington, DC. It was always a treat.
