John Clifton Williams Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2025, at the age of 88, John Clifton Williams Jr. (Stillwater, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Clifton Williams and Minnie Williams (Grundmann); and his sisters, Mary L. Williams and Ann Marie Benson. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Flasch (Kay); his sons, John Clifton Williams III, Carl A. Williams (Karen Ann) and Clark Alan Williams (Carol Marie); his grandchildren, Cale Williams, Bennett Williams, Shelby Smith, Corbin Smith and MacKenzie Smith; his great grandchild Lee Smith; and his brother James O. Williams.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Strode Funeral Home, Inc. (610 S Duncan St, Stillwater, OK 74074). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Guthrie Zion Lutheran Church (424 E Warner Ave, Guthrie, OK 73044).
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests donations be made to the John and Kathryn Williams OSU Library Endowment Fund.
