He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Smokey Dillon and Evelyn Luther Dillon; his spouse Rae Hill; his daughters, Shelly Dillon and Jackie Richardson; his grandson Zackary Richardson; his children, Shawn Dillon, Linda Burrage, Joseph Dillon II and Shilynn Setser; his grandchildren, William Richardson, Ranielle Richardson, Jed Richardson, Logan Lucas, Dustin Dillon, Sarah Sullivent, Katelyn Longest, Phoenix Dillon and Sloane Setser; and his siblings, Raymond Dillon and Betty Granlund. He was also cherished by 9 great-grandchildren.
