He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Johnson and Matilda Johnson; his former wife Carol; his sister Thelma Mahaney; and his great-nephew Trey Seward.
He is survived by: his stepson Joe; his children, Tabitha Dunn (Terry Dunn) of Stroud, Oklahoma, Michael Johnson (Randi) of Yale, Oklahoma, Misty Johnson of Yale, Oklahoma and Daniel Johnson (Selena) of Prague, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Barbara Hendrix (Carl) of Yale, Oklahoma and Frank Johnson (Wanda) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
