It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVeta Mae Marshall in Stillwater, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eithel Delbert Williams and Bertha Emily Williams (Hensley); her daughter Sharon Wheeler; her grandson Josh Ramsey; and her siblings, Delores Stidham, Martha Jo Swart, Wanda Blain, Anna Lee McDaniel, Linda Shannon, Delbert Williams and Eddie Pool.
She is survived by: her children, Debbi Mantooth (Chuck) of Sterling, OK, Gina Ramsey (Michael) of Stillwater, OK, Emily Weixel (Mike) of Cordell, OK and Brent Wheeler (Tammra); her sisters, Betty Davis of Elk City, OK, Delberta Lynch of Cheyenne, OK and Nelda Johnson (Robert) of Carter, OK.; her stepchildren, Butch Marshall (Patti) of Elk City, OK, Joel Marshall (Liz) of Arapaho, OK and Renee'DeSpain (Carl) of Arapaho, OK; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Cary, Justin Skaggs, James Evans, Christina Watts, Matt Chu, Laura Chu, Brandon Standingwater, Brian Ramsey, Angela Short, Brooklin Bell and Tyler Weixel. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and several bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
