It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maggie Overholser Russell formerly of Stillwater, Oklahoma, born in Edmond, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents-in-law, Dr. Clyde and Maude Marie Russell; and her brother-in-law Dr. Rex Russell. She is survived by: her son Mayor; her husband Scott Russell; her daughters, Megan (GT Moody) of Stillwater and Kristen (Kenny Josey) of Stillwater; her grandchild Daireth Klein (Matt) of Phoenix; her great grandchildren, Katlynn "Katy" Roldan (Alex), Madelynn "Maddy", Irelynn, Tatum Klein and Logan Josey; her cousin Judy; her sister-in-law Judy Russell; and her nephews, Rodney Russell and Randy Russell.
Memorial donations may be made by designating support for the Overholser Mansion through theOklahoma Historical Society or Preservation Oklahoma; or the First United Methodist Church building fund in Altus.
