He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Daviss and Proscovie Daviss (Hutton). He is survived by: his son Michael Daviss; his grandson Isaiah Daviss of Houston, Texas; his sister Rose Henderson; his nieces, Angela Henderson, Selena Thomas and Carmilitta Henderson of Lawton; his cousins, Jerome and Donna Bond of Oklahoma City; his uncle Quentin Pollard; and his nephew Kenny Loggins.
