It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michelle Lea Floyd of Stillwater, Oklahoma, who passed away at the age of 44, on February 27, 2023. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Henry, Velma McFarlin (Garrison), Jess and Winona Hayes (Bowen); her pet Cooper; and her friend Tom Dittsworth.
She is survived by: her mother Joni McFarlin (Hayes) of Stillwater; her friend Jackie; her close friend Katrina Wilson; her sisters, Pamela Carter (Raymond) of Agra and Karen Bates (Tony) of Tryon; her nieces and nephews, Mesha Carter, Brittney Carter, Wynona Bates, Shyla Bates, Jeannie Sharpton, Shiann Edwards, Anthony Bates Jr., Jacob Carter, Jesse Edwards (Madison), Raymond Carter (Laney), Jacob Strain, Trey Bates and Justice Bates; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Haven, Kadyn, Silas, Colt, Theia, Avery, Creed, Sloane, Rowyn and Ridge. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, friends, loved ones and care takers.
She continued to strive towards getting her master's degree in nutrition counseling, only lacking the internship when COVID came around and shut everything down.
Even in death she wanted to donate her body to science and her brain to the MS Research Center.
