It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Monty Mitchell Daffern of Stillwater, Oklahoma, who passed away at the age of 54, on May 13, 2024. As we bid Monty farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Monty is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his father Gary Mitchell. He is survived by : his wife Jenny (Chaney); his children, Harrison Mitchell (Hannah Alexis), Melanie Laine "Lou" Daffern and Kyeson Chaney Daffern; and his siblings, Tonya Jean (Paul Thomas Brooks) and Casey Wayne (Kristin Lara Daffern). He is also survived by six nieces and one nephew.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Christ (821 N Duck St, Stillwater, OK 74074).
