She was predeceased by: her parents, Haskell Madison and Lura Madison; her husband Eugene Donovan; and her siblings, Ruby Hendrix (Cecil) and Don Madison (Joann).
She is survived by: her son Joe Donovan (Joy); her grandchildren, Carrie Cooper (Nick) and Adam Donovan; her sister Sharon Petersen (Bryan); her great grandchildren, Jadeyn Rill (Tyler), Donovan Cooper, Lincoln Cooper and Griffin Cooper; her great great grandchildren, Hezekiah Rill, Samuel Rill, Timothy Rill and Isaiah Rill; and her cousin Sallie Brown. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Strode Funeral Home (610 S Duncan St, Stillwater, OK 74074). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (6500 S Perkins Rd, Stillwater, OK 74074).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Oleta's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Morrison Community Development Association.
