He was predeceased by : his parents, Max Gethner and Sylvia Gethner; his sister Deanna La Cerra (Patrick); his grandparents, Edward, Sarah Terman, Morris and Rachel Gethner; and his uncles, Sheldon Terman, Herb Terman and Dr. Louis Gethner (Sonia).

He is survived by : his nephew Zach Byrne (Rebecca); his great-nephew Porter Byrne; and his aunt Barbara Michaels.
