He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra T. Fields Sr. and Esther Murray Fields. He is survived by: his wife Glenda J. Turner; his brother Ezra T. Fields Jr.; and his children, Robert Fields Jr., Bruce Allen Fields, Brenda Alexander (Jesse James) and Beverly Nelson Fields (David Lee Nelson). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
