He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Thomas "J. T." Hill and Lille Belle Hill (Hicks); his brother Joel Thomas Hill; and his stepdaughter Devin Marie Hill. He is survived by: his pets, Tymber, Baxter, Koji and Quigley; his wife Wanda Hill (Lewis); his children, Rob Hill (Tracy) of Stillwater and Lori Battles (James Battles, Jr.) of Perry; and his grandchildren, James Battles III, Makinze Hill and Joshua Battles.
A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fairlawn Cemetery (1123 E 6th Ave, Stillwater, OK 74074).
