He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Gray and Josie EllaMae Bass Gray; his wife Esther Morgan; his sons, Kenneth Gray and Tyrone Gray II; his granddaughters, Courtney Gray and Summer Gray; and his siblings, Ina Hayes, Helen Elliot, Winston Gray, Reggy Gray, Peggy Shreve and Joe Gray.

He is survived by: his sons, Tony Gray and Marlon Gary; and his grandchildren, Tony, Tara, Tracy, Kelly, Rebecca, Tyler, Marlon Ray, Brtni, Bethani, BayLi, Kenneth, Heather, Misty and Candace. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
