It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Fay Godwin (Stroud, Oklahoma), who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Alice Mae McTasney and Clarence "Turk" Godwin; her friend Jim Beaird; and her aunt Toni Godwin of Bristow, OK. She is survived by : her sons, Sahlamon Godwin of Dallas, TX and Tyrell Godwin of Leavenworth, KS; her siblings, Winifred Gay Godwin-Foster of Stroud, OK, Sherry Simmons, Melinda Walker of Kansas City, MO, Florence Star Godwin of Dallas, TX, Alicia Harness of Kansas City, MO and John "Toy" Godwin (Armintha "Te") of Stroud, OK.; and her uncles, Wilford Anderson (Constance) of Ada, OK, Bobby Godwin (Marcia) of Moberly, MO and Harold Punch Jones of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends.
