She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilda Alley and Leo Sr. Alley; her children, Jerry "Randy" Wright, Jaelyn Inlow and Steven Wright; and her siblings, Delano Alley, Norma Seitsinger and Betty Reed.

She is survived by: her husband Clifford Wright; her sons, Eddie Wright (Brenda) and Kevin Wright (Nancy); her brother Leo "Sonny" Alley Jr.; her niece Lou Cooper; and her grandchildren, Randy Wright, Jamie Inman, Amanda Tuttle, Bailey Clovis, Zachary Wright, Gage Wright and Heidi Bounds. She is also survived by many great grandchildren; as well as many other extended family.

“I moved to Stroud in 1971. I was single and lived in garage apartment on east main. Jessie worked for city and processed the electric bills. I forgot to pay my bill. At that time, if the bills weren’t paid then electricity was shut off. Jessie paid my bill saving me the embarrassment. It could be difficult to contact people. I find out what she did and immediately paid her for her tremendous kindness. I was forever thankful for her generosity. Love the family, Dennis Bookout retired from Stroud”
