He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Ring and Opal Ring (King); his brother Albert Ring; his former wife Betty Shadley; and his close friend Cecil Lankford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen Patterson (Lloyd) of Ponca City and Carrie Kaup (Mike) of Tonkawa; his grandchildren, Ashley Miller, Amie Huster, Chad Patterson (Amber), Rachael Young (Matt) and Levi Kaup (Shelby); his daughters, Cherie Lindsey, Elysia Wages and Melody Hightower; and his great grandchildren, Alyda Alvarez (Peter), Lexie Huster, Logan Huster, James'Wyatt'Patterson, Alexander Kaup and Amelia Kaup.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Service - Stroud (504 N 8th Ave, Stroud, OK 74079). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
