She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Waco Vernon and Ida Mae Thorpe (Wendland); her husband Eldon T. Holman; her brothers, Charles Lafaye Vernon and Billie Ray Vernon; and her son Elmer Dean Holman.

She is survived by : her children, Charles T. Holman, Enamaye Wright, JoAnn Holman, Judy Sims and Karen Sue Zehner. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and great great great-grandchildren.
