It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Parrott in Stroud, Oklahoma, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harold Parrott and Barbara Mae Trammell (McGuire); and his son Chad Parrott. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Brookins of Wellston; his children, Robert Parrott, Jesse Parrott, Jared Parrott and Katie Parrott; and his siblings, Steve Parrott, James Trammell (Tanya), Deborah Karcher, Carolyn Underwood and Patricia Gipson. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
