She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Sue Newnam; her children, Gerald Hixon and Lynita Hixon; her grandchildren, Ashley Patterson, Gerald Hixon (Annie), Taylor Brownlee and Kaylan Maston (Dalton); her great grandchildren, Destiny Hixon, Asher Hixon, Tonya Hixon, Haven Hixon, Kaleb Hixon and Ruth Jane Hixon; and her pet Riva. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
