She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Leon Wood and Ona Bernice Kirby Wood; and her son-in-law Clendon Babb. She is survived by: her son John Lance; her husband John Van McCaskill; her daughter Christy Babb of Sulphur; her daughter-in-law Angela McCaskill of Mustang; her grandchildren, Chase Blankenship (Alyson), Carter Babb, Cameron Babb (Aubrey), Dalton McCaskill (Madison), Aspen Brown (Austin), Sage McCaskill and Ivy McCaskill; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Hunter, Josie, Quinn, Benjamin and Arden; her sister Jo Freeman (Gary); her niece Lory Runyan (Bear); and her nephew Andy Freeman (Tyger). She is also survived by many other extended family members and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hale's Funeral Homes - Sulphur (3370 State Hwy 7, Sulphur, OK 73086). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Crossway First Baptist Church (2108 W Broadway Ave, Sulphur, OK 73086).
