We announce the death of Helen Chitwood of Sulphur, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 93. Helen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her grandmother Helen Carolyn Chitwood; her parents, Fred Tanner and Drudie Tanner; her husband Bill Chitwood; her brother Charles Tanner; and her grandson Tanner Chitwood.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Ellen Chitwood and Betty Tanner; her nieces and nephews, Kathy Standridge (Kirk), Laurie Caldwell (Chris), Fred Chitwood (Pam) and Bob Chitwood (Tracey); her grandchildren, Hattie Kate Standridge, Brandi, KaDee Bramlett, Victoria Boyles, Ross, Bryce Chitwood, Jessica Brownwood, Micaiah Chitwood, Nathan and Jordan Harp; and her great grandchildren, Laurie Boyles, Camden, Blayke Chitwood, Graicee, Ryder Harp and Britain Brownwood.
