He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Richard and Nancy Terry (Gentry); his brothers, Tommy and Johnny Boyd; and his in-laws, Carl and Bella Haws.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael Carl Terry of Sulphur and Stephen Lonzo Terry of Oklahoma City; his wife Thelma; his son Richard "Dick" Terry (Teresia) of Sulphur; his grandchildren, Mattie Wesley (Nathon) and Jett Terry; his sister-in-law Elsie Costigan of Wagoner; his nieces, Casey Wineland (Anthony), Shelley LaGrand and Shelia Bergner; and his nephew Brandon Flores (Ashley).

Viewing was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hale's Funeral Home (3370 State Hwy 7, Sulphur, OK 73086). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
