He is survived by: his sons, Teddy Kent Higgins of Oklahoma City and James Michael Higgins of Sulphur; his grandchildren, Michael Higgins (McKenzie), Theodore Higgins, Ludie Higgins and J. J. Higgins; and his sister Kaye Simmons. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
