We announce the death of DeAnn Smith of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 57. DeAnn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Dale McBride; and her grandparents, Roy, Helen McBride, J. Lee and Margaret Hendrix.

She is survived by: her mother Glenda McBride (Hendrix) of Rogers, Arkansas; her children, Joshua Smith (Megan) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Tyler Smith (Nikki) of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Amber Vandusen of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; her granddaughter Jordan Rose; her sister Lisa McBride of Rogers; and her aunts, Mava Scott, Kathy Blevins (Eddie), Roxie McBride, Gayle Barker and Dixie Paulsen (David). She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
