With sadness, we share the passing of Diamond Darlene Franklin in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Diamond, born on December 5, 1935, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma O'Dell (Thompson) and Ernest O'Dell; her sisters, Opal Gustus and Ruby Tarbutton; and her former husband E. C. Franklin, Jr. (Cliff).

She is survived by: her husband Eugene Clifton Franklin, Jr.; her sons, Ernie (Cheryl Franklin) of Fort Gibson and Robbie (Kathie Franklin) of Ponder, Texas; and her grandchildren, Madison Franklin, Nathan Franklin and Rachel Franklin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Church in honor of Diamond Franklin.
